Leo Scene is the trading name of LEO DICKINSON PRODUCTIONS LIMITED, a documentary field production service working out of the UK and travelling wherever a story takes us. We are a small team, and we like it that way, because it means the person who answers your enquiry is often the same person standing beside you on location.
Documentary work lives or dies on the ground: on access, on timing, and on knowing which door to knock on when the light is going and the schedule is tight. That is the part we handle. We scout locations, secure permissions, build relationships with contributors and keep a shoot moving when the weather or the story has other ideas.
Our field production covers camera and sound, fixer work, logistics and the quiet administration that keeps a crew fed, moved and legally covered. We have filmed in cities, on coastlines, on farms and in rooms no bigger than a cupboard, and we bring the same care to each of them.
We work with independent directors, production companies and broadcasters, and we are equally comfortable joining an existing crew or building one from scratch for a single shoot. If your project needs someone who understands both the craft and the paperwork, that is where we fit.
